Victoria Gillieron

Artist Statement: My goal as an artist is to capture the soul of my subject and to translate that life force to the canvas with graceful realism. Victoria Gillieron started painting about 9 years ago and has been fortunate enough to study with many extremely talented artists, enabling her to quickly advance her skills and become a professional artist. She has studied with exceptional painters such as, Carolyn Anderson, Robert Liberace, Dan Gerhartz, Quang Ho, and C.W. Mundy whom she considers her mentor/spiritual advisor/friend. Without these amazing individuals Victoria would still be trying to figure out which end of the brush to use. Victoria has shown her work in many prestigious juried shows, such as, Indiana Heritage Arts, Hoosier Salon, Richmond Art Museum where she has won many awards including; Best of Show First Time Entrant-Hoosier Salon, First Brush of Spring-Hoosier Salon-New Harmony, and People’s Choice Award-Indiana State Fair. She specializes in portraits and her works are part of many permanent collections in boardrooms, hospitals, and offices, as well as in private homes.
